M. Scott Deason - Communications Director

Scott has a B.S. in Business, an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design, and a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from Oklahoma State University. While attending OSU, Scott worked for the university in a variety of positions including Graphic Designer, Publisher, and Television Broadcast Designer.

After leaving OSU in 1997, Scott served as Vice President for Ideal Specialty, a 45 year old, Tulsa manufacturing company, where he was charged with the responsibility of modernizing and re-inventing the company. During this time, he created a corporate communications package covering multiple product lines including aircraft inspection, oil field services, and identification and signage products. Scott also implemented Ideal's first computer network upon which he developed and hosted a completely customized office automation system consisting of over 30 databases. Over 8 years later, this system is still in place, and serves virtually every aspect of office automation including job-intake, quotation, work orders, purchasing, billing, and shipping and receiving.

Scott has over 17 years experience in many of the practical areas surrounding the communications industry, including print design for advertising, trade show promotion, and broadcast design for National television programming such as ESPN and ABC. Scott's specialties include 3d animation, motion graphics design, web design and database development. Scott has been a principal contributor to The Intrepid Equity Group since 1994.

Scott's hobbies and interests include managing his rental properties, investing in the stock market, Hollywood special FX, and anything to do with entrepreneurship. Scott's favorite charities include MissingKids.com, the Creation Evidences Museum in Glenrose Texas, and the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
